
OUR STORY
Human Gumbo was established in 2016 by Head Chef Olivier Broussard, General Manager Anna Brover and Beverage Director Rob Steig. Inspired by Broussard's, Brover's and Steig's upbringing in Lake Charles, LA, Human Gumbo is a testament to their upbringing, their families and their community.
OUR GOAL
Our goal at Human Gumbo is to not only provide our guests an unforgettable dining experience but to do so using sustainable ingredients from sustainable sources local to our area. It is in our best interest to not just be present in our community but to serve it as well. We maintain close personal relationships with small local fishers, fisheries and farmers. We are nothing without the communities that made us.
